Amongst the array of public figures who participate in meditation, Miley Cyrus is one of them. Her practise came further into the light during the initial hit of the pandemic where she hosted Instagram Live sessions called Bright Minded, a way for people to connect, breathe and discuss whilst in isolation.
However, this is not the first time the Wrecking Ball singer has taken time to meditate. It has been a part of her life for years now. Having grown up in the spotlight as daughter to country musician Billy Ray Cyrus and the star of her own show Hannah Montana, it would have been important to find time for herself and prioritise her wellbeing. In a previous interview with ELLE US, Miley shared her pre-interview ritual:
“I try to meditate the night before interviews on what my goal is, what I want this to say about me.”
This can be a very helpful moment for us all, so we can focus on our goal and not feel flustered in the moment.
